P10 is the entry level: 10% earn less, 90% earn more. The median is the middle (exactly half earn more, half less). P90 is the top level: only 10% earn more.

The market data is based on the base salaries stated in listings. Variable parts such as bonus, stock options or a 13th month are usually not included – for a fair comparison, strip them out.
